Nearly 50 House Democrats requested $75 million in the federal budget on Monday to offer legal counsel to asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors and other immigrants who often appear unrepresented in immigration court, saying the funds will ensure fairness while helping the courts operate more efficiently.
