Amandha focuses her practice on family-based immigration petitions, asylum applications, and humanitarian petitions, including status for victims of crimes and domestic violence. Amandha is a first-generation immigrant, who was born and raised in Framingham, Massachusetts. She is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
Prior to joining Massa Viana Law, Amandha attended Northeastern University School of Law (“NUSL), where she completed three immigration-related internships and participated in NUSL’s first immigration clinic. She also participated in NUSL’s domestic violence clinic, representing survivors of domestic violence in restraining orders hearings.
In 2014, Amandha graduated from Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Before attending law school, she worked for two years as a legal assistant for an estate planning law firm.
Amandha loves reading and spending time with her family. She also enjoys volunteering and working with her church’s youth group in her personal time.
