Camille is a first-generation American, born and raised in New England. Her parents’ experiences as immigrants, especially that of her mother, heavily influenced her upbringing. The importance of helping the immigrant community access the resources they need, but are unaware of, was instilled in Camille from a young age
She currently works on the Removal Defense team, working closely with Attorney Miranda Leo to prepare Cancellation of Removal and Waiver cases. These are cases that are evidence intensive and deal primarily with showcasing the exceptional and unusual hardships that family members face if a loved one in their family is removed from the country.
Camille’s passion for volunteering and helping underprivileged communities led her to immigration law. Before becoming a paralegal, she worked as an administrative assistant at Massa Viana, contacting partner organizations to help organize pro bono events and coordinating the grassroots work the firm does. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and is proficient in Spanish.
Camille graduated with Honors from Framingham State University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. She plans to attend law school in the future. When she is not studying, Camille loves to read, go for runs, and spend time with friends.
