Born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, Kaicy joined Massa Viana Law in 2018 and currently manages our staff, casework and works as a lead paralegal on our immigration law team. She is responsible for the preparation of marriage-based petitions, including I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and consular processing applications. Kaicy is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Before joining the firm, Kaicy gained five years of paralegal experience handling environmental, civil and employment law matters for a major Brazilian law firm. She also worked with several other firms as an intern.
In 2016, Kaicy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Faculdade do Vale do Rio Doce (Fadivale) College of Law in Brazil, attendant courses at Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, and Human Resources from 2013-2016
In 2017, she became a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, and was licensed to practice law in Brazil.
Kaicy loves working in the immigration field, an ever-changing, complex area of law. She is also responsible for our office growth and management. When she is not working, Kaicy enjoys spending time with her family.
