Originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil, Rafael Adriano Peruzzo moved to the Boston area in August of 2015.
Before moving to Boston, he worked for a boutique law firm and then as a law clerk at the State Supreme Court of Rio Grande do Sul. Prior to joining Massa Viana Law, Peruzzo volunteered at the City of Somerville, taught ESL at the Brazilian Worker Center, and worked as a cultural and educational liaison at the Consulate General of Brazil.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, where he also took several courses in languages, linguistics, education and literature. He became a member of the Brazilian Bar Association in 2010 and specialized in International Law in 2014.
At Massa Viana, Peruzzo is responsible for keeping the office’s internal operations running smoothly. He also manages the staff’s calendars and firm’s activities, and is the main point of contact between clients and attorneys.
Rafael Adriano’s passion for languages keeps him busy in his free time. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and also has working knowledge of Italian, German, and French. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano, listening to music, reading novels and reading about politics, history, art and economics.
