March 4, 2024 – Massa Viana partnered with Jewish Family Services to once again provide a workshop to Ukrainians nationals and their families in the United States. In the workshop, held at the Goodnow Library Community Room, in Sudbury, MA, attorney Amanda LaRocca discussed re-parole of eligible immigrants on the U4U program, delved into Temporary Protected Status, and presented pathways to legal residency for members of that community.
Ukrainians present in the United States since August 16, 2023, may be eligible to apply for Temporary Protected Status. The protection would allow Ukrainians living in the United States to stay in the country lawfully until April 19, 2025. TPS holders are eligible to obtain a work authorization and advance parole while in status.
